RBI Baseball – NES

RBI Baseball is a Tengen baseball game for the NES built around arcade-style action and lineup strategy. Its roster system uses real Major League Baseball Players Association player names and stats, giving each team and star player meaningful differences on the field.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Baseball gameplay emphasizes batting power, running speed, pitching stamina, and individual pitcher style during each play.
• Ten teams feature MLBPA-licensed rosters, including players such as Don Mattingly, Andre Dawson, Fernando Valenzuela, and Roger Clemens.
• Season play includes a nine-game run against the computer.
• Head-to-head competition centers on a best-of-seven series format.
• Managerial decisions include choosing the starting pitcher and switching to relief pitchers as stamina wears down.

Home runs trigger fireworks and crowd reactions, while completed games are followed by a sports-page-style stat summary. RBI Baseball also became the first entry in the long-running R.B.I. Baseball series.
