Reel Fishing The Great Outdoors – PSP Game

Reel Fishing: The Great Outdoors is a handheld entry in the Reel Fishing series of fishing simulations. You travel to freshwater locations, select tackle including rods, lines and lures or bait, and cast out to work the water for whatever species live there. Once a fish takes the hook, play becomes a contest of tension: you reel in when the fish tires and let it run when it pulls hard, since forcing the fight can break the line. Catches are logged with size and weight, and you can return fish to the water. The pace is deliberate rather than arcade-styled, with outdoor scenery and ambient sound making up much of the presentation. It suits short handheld sessions, with progress built around finding and landing new species.
