Resident Evil 2

A PlayStation re-release of Resident Evil 2 configured for the DualShock controller, adding analogue stick movement and vibration feedback to the original survival horror game. You choose between Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, playing through paired scenarios that revisit Raccoon City’s outbreak from two perspectives. The presentation combines pre-rendered backgrounds with fixed camera angles, and play involves searching the police station and the areas beneath it, conserving ammunition and herbs, combining items, and working through key and puzzle-based progression. Enemies range from ordinary zombies to Lickers and larger pursuing creatures. Saving requires ink ribbons at typewriters, and storage boxes hold whatever your limited inventory cannot. Completing scenarios unlocks additional modes and alternate costumes.
