• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Original online services for this game or platform have been discontinued; any offline or local modes still work normally.
• Survival horror gameplay focuses on escaping interactive, expansive levels while managing danger from zombies and other bio-organic threats.
• Eight playable characters offer different team-building options for offline play, with computer-controlled partners affecting each scenario.
• Unlockable hidden items and non-playable characters add extra goals beyond simply surviving each stage.
• Crossover data support allows items earned in Resident Evil Outbreak to carry over into File 2.

Notable enemy encounters include mutated beasts in the city zoo and giant insects in the subways. As the second Outbreak release, File 2 continues the side-story structure built around ordinary survivors caught in Raccoon City’s collapse.
