Rings of Power – Sega Genesis Game

Rings of Power is a role-playing game for the Sega Genesis. The world is presented in an isometric view, and you guide your character across landscapes, towns and dungeons, talking to inhabitants, gathering equipment and recruiting companions to travel with you. The central quest concerns rings of power scattered through the world, and progress relies on questioning characters for information, tracking down locations and assembling what you need before you can move forward. Combat and character growth are handled through menu-driven systems, with statistics and spells improving as you advance. Exploration is wide open, and the game expects note-taking and patience rather than pointing you directly to your next objective. Its cartridge includes a battery save so long expeditions can be continued across sessions.
