Rise to Honor – PS2 Game

Rise to Honor is a third-person action game starring Jet Li, who provided motion capture and likeness for the lead role. You play a bodyguard drawn into a conflict between criminal organisations, with the story moving between Hong Kong and San Francisco. Combat is built around the right analogue stick: rather than pressing attack buttons, you push the stick in the direction of an enemy to strike that way, which lets you deal with several attackers surrounding you and chain hits from one target to the next. Environments feed into the fighting, with objects and surroundings usable during brawls, and some sequences swap hand-to-hand work for gunplay and chases. Cutscenes and a cinematic camera present the plot between fights.
