Risk – PS1 Game

Risk is a video game adaptation of the Hasbro strategy board game of world conquest. You take control of armies on a map of the globe divided into territories grouped by continent, deploying reinforcements each turn, attacking neighbouring regions and fortifying your borders. Battles are resolved by dice rolls, with the attacker and defender comparing results to see which armies are removed, and holding an entire continent increases the reinforcements you receive. The digital version handles the bookkeeping for you, tracking troop counts, turn order and card sets automatically. You can play against computer opponents or share the controller with other players, and the aim remains the same as the tabletop original: eliminate the other armies and occupy every territory on the board.
