Road Rash – Sega Genesis Game

Road Rash on the Sega Genesis is a motorcycle racing game where you punch and kick your way through the pack. Races run along stretches of Californian road with ordinary traffic in both directions, and rivals ride close enough to trade blows. Landing hits can send an opponent off the bike; taking hits or striking a car does the same to you, leaving a run back to your machine while the field pulls away. Police bikes patrol the roads and will arrest you if they catch up, costing you money in fines. Prize money from strong finishes pays for repairs and better, faster bikes, which are needed to stay competitive in later events. The behind-the-rider view emphasises reading upcoming traffic and terrain, including hills and blind rises, at high speed.
