Roadsters – PS1 Game

Roadsters is an arcade-leaning racing game for the PlayStation featuring licensed sports and roadster-style cars. You compete in races against a field of AI opponents on a set of circuits, with handling tuned for accessible drifting and quick recoveries rather than simulation-level detail. Progressing through the career side of the game earns money, which goes toward buying new cars and fitting performance parts to improve acceleration, top speed and handling on the vehicles you already own. Alongside the main progression there are single-race and time-based options, plus split-screen play for a second player. The presentation uses behind-the-car and in-car style viewpoints, and races are decided by finishing position across events rather than a single long championship run.
