Robocop 3 – Sega Genesis Game

RoboCop 3 for the Sega Genesis is a licensed action game tied to the third film. The core of it is side-scrolling combat: you move RoboCop through city streets and interiors, shooting armed opponents with the Auto-9 and taking hits on your armour rather than dodging everything. Between these stages the game switches to other styles of play, including sequences that put you behind different hardware and viewpoints, so the pace changes as you progress. Enemies range from street gunmen to heavier armoured and robotic threats drawn from the film’s plot, and health and ammunition pickups are scattered through the levels. Mission briefings and cutscene panels connect the stages and follow the story of the movie. Play is single-player, using the standard Genesis controller.
