Rock Band – PS2 Game

Rock Band is a music rhythm game built around a full band setup rather than a single instrument. Players take the roles of lead guitar, bass, drums and vocals, with note charts scrolling down the screen for the instrument parts and a pitch line for the singer. Hitting notes in time keeps the crowd on your side, while missing too many ends the song early; bandmates who fail can be revived by teammates playing well. The setlist is made up of licensed rock tracks spanning several decades. Alongside quick play options, a career mode has your band take on gigs in different cities, earning fans and unlocking additional songs. The PlayStation 2 version supports instrument controllers and can be played solo or with others locally.
