Rolling Thunder 2 – Sega Genesis Game

Rolling Thunder 2 is a side-scrolling shooting and platforming game in which you play as an agent of an international intelligence outfit, working through enemy-held areas against a masked terrorist organisation. As in the earlier games, stages are laid out on two levels of platform that you jump between, and doors set into the back wall hold ammunition and weapon upgrades to replace your limited pistol rounds. Two agents are selectable, and the game supports simultaneous two-player co-operative action. Stages travel through varied locations and end in boss fights, with enemies arriving from doors, ledges and off-screen. The pacing rewards careful positioning, crouching behind cover and timing your shots rather than charging forward.
