Rugby 2006 – PS2 Game

Rugby 2006 is a rugby union game from EA Sports for the PlayStation 2. Matches follow the full 15-a-side game, with scrums, lineouts, rucks and mauls, penalties, conversions and drop goals all handled in play. You build attacks by moving the ball through the hands, using offloads, sidesteps and fends to beat defenders, and switch to kicking when you want to gain ground or take points. Defensive play involves organising the line, timing tackles and competing for possession at the breakdown, while goal kicks are aimed with a power and direction meter. International teams and competitions are included, along with exhibition matches, tournaments and season play, and two players can face off on one console with commentary and replays throughout.
