Rygar – NES

Rygar is an action-adventure game for the NES starring the warrior of Argool. The game brings Tecmo’s arcade hero into a home console quest built around dangerous beasts, treacherous terrain, and mythic weapons.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action focuses on battling enemies, navigating hazards, and pushing through hostile fantasy environments.
• Rygar fights to defeat an evil king and his army of dangerous beasts across the land of Argool.
• Weapons and powers from the Indora war gods support the quest and give the game its mythic adventure theme.
• The grappling weapon is used as a key tool for progressing through challenging areas.

This NES version expands Rygar beyond its earlier arcade roots with a quest structure built for home play. The Argool setting and Indora war gods give the game a distinct fantasy identity within Tecmo’s 8-bit lineup.
