Samurai Shodown Anthology – PSP Game

Samurai Shodown Anthology gathers entries from SNK’s weapon-based fighting series for PlayStation Portable, each playable as a separate arcade conversion chosen from a menu. Fights are one-on-one duels with swords and other weapons, and the series’ hard-hitting damage means a single clean strike can swing a round. Blades clash when attacks meet, and a disarmed fighter has to recover the weapon while fending off attacks bare-handed. Familiar duelists including Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Genjuro and Hanzo recur across the games, while individual installments introduce their own systems such as rage gauges and alternate fighting styles. Each game offers a single-player run through its roster toward a final boss, and the handheld release supports versus play against another PSP owner. Display and control settings are adjusted from the collection’s options.
