San Francisco Rush – PS1 Game

San Francisco Rush is an arcade-style racer on the PlayStation, built around exaggerated circuits based on the streets and hills of San Francisco. The driving model favours big air and long jumps over realism, so cars leave the road at crests, tumble on bad landings and get straightened out again so you can keep racing. Courses hide shortcuts, ramps and off-road detours that can cut significant time from a lap, and much of the appeal comes from learning where those routes are. You compete against a pack of computer-controlled cars, with split-screen play available for two drivers. Adjustable settings let you change car handling and gameplay parameters, and a track-based scoring focus encourages repeated runs to shave down times.
