Sega Classics Arcade Collection – Sega CD Game

Sega Classics Arcade Collection is a compilation for the Sega CD that bundles several Sega action and puzzle titles onto one disc. The games are selected from a front-end menu and played individually, with the CD format used to present them alongside redone audio. The lineup draws on Sega’s Genesis-era catalogue and includes the falling-block puzzle game Columns, the fantasy beat-’em-up Golden Axe and the side-scrolling brawler Streets of Rage, so a single disc covers puzzle, melee combat and multiplayer play. Titles retain their original stages, controls and difficulty settings, and cooperative or competitive two-player options are available in the games that supported them. It is aimed at players who want a group of shorter arcade-style games in one package rather than a single long campaign.
