You drive point-to-point rally stages against a clock and rival cars, with checkpoints extending your remaining time. The handling model centres on surface changes: tarmac gives grip and high speed, while dirt and gravel require sliding the car through corners and steering into the drift. A co-driver calls upcoming turns as you go. Alongside the arcade-style championship run there are time attack and two-player split-screen options. Cars are drawn from real rally machinery of the era, and stages take in varied environments and weather conditions. Sessions are short and score-focused, built around learning each stage and shaving seconds off your times rather than long-form career progression.
