Sega Soccer Slam – Xbox Game

Sega Soccer Slam is an arcade football game for the original Xbox built around three-a-side matches in stylised open-air arenas. Realism is set aside: there are no fouls or offsides, so you can shoulder-charge opponents off the ball, and matches revolve around passing chains, tackles and charged-up special shots that leave the ball trailing effects as it heads for goal. Teams are made up of cartoonish characters with their own strengths in speed, power and skill, and players can be improved as you advance. Single-player play is structured around tournaments against rival teams, while exhibition matches and local multiplayer let you play alongside or against a friend. Controls are straightforward, keeping the focus on quick attacking play and timing your power moves.
