Shadow Ops Red Mercury – Xbox Game

Shadow Ops: Red Mercury is a first-person shooter for the original Xbox built around a modern counter-terrorism story. You play as a special forces operative sent to stop a plot involving a dangerous weapon, working through scripted single-player missions set in a range of international locations, from city streets to desert and industrial environments. Play centres on conventional military shooting: you carry a limited loadout of real-world style firearms and grenades, take cover, and clear objectives while friendly squad members and civilians appear in scripted sequences around you. Levels use heavy destruction and explosive set pieces as a recurring element. Alongside the campaign, the game includes multiplayer modes for competitive matches. Presentation follows the mid-2000s military shooter template, with cutscenes framing each stage of the operation.
