Shadow the Hedgehog – Xbox Game

Shadow the Hedgehog is a 3D action platformer for the original Xbox in which you play as Shadow, who is searching for the truth about his own past. The core movement is familiar from 3D Sonic games, with fast running, jumping, homing attacks and rail grinding, but Shadow’s arsenal is broader: he can pick up firearms from fallen enemies and use vehicles found within the stages. Levels present several objectives at once, usually a hero-side task, a dark-side task and the straightforward option of reaching the goal, and your choice determines which stage you play next. That branching structure means the campaign runs along many different routes with different conclusions. Voiced cutscenes carry the story, which involves the wider Sonic cast, a military force and an invading alien army.
