Shark Tale – Gamecube Game

Shark Tale is an action game for the GameCube based on the DreamWorks animated film of the same name. You take the role of Oscar, a small fish caught up in the movie’s story of reef gangsters and mistaken reputations, and the game follows the film’s plot through its sequence of stages. Play is broken into varied objective-based levels rather than one continuous world, mixing swimming and movement challenges with timing- and rhythm-based sequences and short competitive contests against other characters. Levels are linked by story scenes that use the film’s characters and settings. The presentation and difficulty are aimed at a family audience, with straightforward controls and clearly signposted goals. Voice work and music accompany the underwater environments drawn from the movie.
