Shin Megami Tensei

An expanded release of Persona 3 for PlayStation 2. It contains the main story, in which a transfer student joins a group of classmates who fight shadows during the Dark Hour inside the tower of Tartarus, alongside an additional epilogue campaign set after those events. The core game alternates between calendar-driven school life, where you attend class, build Social Links with other characters and manage your time, and turn-based dungeon battles where Personas are summoned with Evokers and knocking down enemies through their weaknesses grants extra actions. Personas are gained through fusion, with Social Links strengthening the results. The epilogue chapter focuses more heavily on combat and dungeon exploration than on daily life, and this version also includes additional equipment, Personas and quality-of-life changes to the main story.
