Shin Megami Tensei

The PlayStation Portable version of Persona 3. You play a transfer student who joins a group of classmates able to act during the Dark Hour, exploring the tower of Tartarus and fighting shadows with summoned Personas. Battles are turn-based and revolve around exploiting enemy weaknesses to knock them down and gain extra attacks, while daily life runs on a calendar of classes, exams, part-time jobs and Social Links that strengthen the Personas you fuse. This release adds the option to play as a female protagonist, with her own Social Links, dialogue and music, and lets you directly command every party member in combat rather than relying on their AI. Town and school areas are navigated through a point-and-click style interface with a cursor instead of a fully explorable 3D environment.
