Shining in the Darkness – Sega Genesis

Shining in the Darkness is a Sega Genesis RPG set in the enchanted Kingdom of Thornwood. The adventure uses a 3-D first-person dungeon view as the quest pushes through the Labyrinth against the forces of Dark Sol.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• First-person RPG exploration emphasizes dungeon crawling, party battles, and navigation through dark maze-like areas.
• The story centers on finding the Arms of Light, passing the test of the Ancients, and becoming a shining knight.
• The Labyrinth spans 9 levels filled with monster encounters and fast-scrolling transitions from battle to battle.
• Panoramic and cinematic views give the dungeon scenes a distinct Sega Genesis presentation.
• Battery back-up supports saved progress for the full role-playing quest.

As an early entry in the Shining series, this title predates the tactical RPG direction later associated with Shining Force. Its focus is traditional first-person dungeon exploration rather than grid-based strategy battles.
