Shinobi III Return of the Ninja Master – Sega Genesis Game

A side-scrolling action game for the Sega Genesis in which you play as ninja Joe Musashi. You move through stages using sword strikes at close range and shuriken at a distance, along with wall climbing, dashing and mid-air attacks. Ninjutsu magic gives you a limited-use screen-clearing or defensive option, and each stage ends in a boss fight. The level design varies the format across the campaign, with sections that put you on horseback, riding a surfboard across water and moving through a range of settings from forests and caves to industrial and high-tech interiors. Enemy ninja, soldiers and mechanical foes appear in set patterns, so learning routes and timing helps on later stages.
