Showdown Legends of Wrestling – PS2 Game

Showdown: Legends of Wrestling is a professional wrestling game for the PlayStation 2 and part of the Legends of Wrestling series. Its roster is built around wrestlers from earlier eras of the sport rather than the contemporary television product of the time. Matches use grapple and strike controls with a momentum system leading up to signature moves and pinfall attempts, and the match types include one-on-one bouts as well as multi-competitor and weapon-based variations. Alongside exhibition matches, the game includes career-style play and a create-a-wrestler mode for building your own competitor and altering appearance and moves. Multiple players can compete locally. If you are interested in wrestling games centred on older, established names, this is one of the PS2 entries covering that ground.
