Shrek Treasure Hunt – PS1 Game

Shrek Treasure Hunt is a collection-focused game based on the first Shrek film. Playing as Shrek, you explore areas themed on locations from the movie and search out items scattered across each stage, working against a time limit while avoiding or dealing with enemies in your path. Progress depends on finding what you are asked to collect rather than on combat, so exploration and route-finding drive the play. Levels are viewed in 3D and include obstacles, hazards and hidden spots that reward looking around. Familiar characters from the film appear along the way, and the presentation borrows the swamp and fairy-tale settings of the source material. The pace and simple controls place it firmly in the family-friendly end of the PlayStation library.
