Silent Hill Origins – PSP Game

The PlayStation Portable version of this survival horror prequel, set before the first Silent Hill. You play truck driver Travis Grady, who pulls a girl from a burning house and then finds himself exploring the fog-bound town. You search buildings such as a hospital, theatre and sanitarium for keys and items, read notes, and solve environmental puzzles. Combat relies heavily on improvised melee weapons picked up from the environment, most of which break with use, so you keep swapping between whatever is at hand. Ammunition and healing supplies are scarce. Mirrors act as gateways that move Travis between the normal town and its decayed otherworld version. A pocket radio signals nearby monsters with static, as in earlier games in the series.
