Silent Scope 3 – PS2 Game

A PlayStation 2 entry in Konami’s sniping series. You view the action with a magnified scope window laid over the main scene, scanning environments for targets and then zooming in to line up shots on specific parts of the body. Stages are timed, with accurate hits extending the clock and shots that endanger civilians penalised, and they end in encounters with individual boss opponents. Missions take place across a range of urban and interior locations and include segments where you or your targets are moving, forcing you to lead shots. Scoring grades your precision rather than the number of rounds fired. Played with the standard controller in place of the mounted rifle used in arcade versions of the series.
