Singstar Pop – PS2 Game

SingStar Pop is an entry in the SingStar karaoke series for the PlayStation 2, with a set list of pop tracks. You sing into a USB microphone while the lyrics scroll across the screen over the song’s music video, and the game scores you by comparing your pitch and timing against the melody, with a note bar showing how accurate each line is. Solo play focuses on raising your scores across the track list, while two microphones allow head-to-head competition, duets and pass-the-mic modes for a group. Menus are simple, so a session is mostly a matter of picking songs and singing. As with the rest of the series, the emphasis is on party play rather than a structured single-player campaign.
