Singstar Rocks – PS2 Game

SingStar Rocks is a rock-themed disc in the SingStar karaoke series for the PlayStation 2. You sing into a USB microphone while lyrics scroll across the screen over the accompanying music video, and the game scores you by tracking your pitch and timing against the melody line, displaying your accuracy note by note. Single-player mode is about pushing scores higher across the set list, while support for two microphones adds head-to-head scoring, duets and pass-the-mic play for groups. Navigation is handled with simple menus, so play consists of choosing tracks and singing rather than working through stages. The set list leans toward rock songs, and the disc uses the same microphone setup as other SingStar titles on the platform.
