Instead of controlling a single operator’s aim in real time, you view the battlefield from a pulled-back perspective and direct your SEAL element, positioning them, choosing routes, setting up covering angles and ordering coordinated actions such as breaching a room or taking simultaneous shots. Play can be paused to plan movements, so missions become a series of deliberate decisions about approach and timing. Objectives follow the series pattern of eliminating targets, recovering hostages and clearing enemy positions in built-up and outdoor environments. Loadouts are chosen before deployment, and the game includes wireless multiplayer for head-to-head matches using the same command-focused control scheme.
