Sonic Boom

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is a Wii U action adventure tied to the Sonic Boom television series and its redesigned character look. You control Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy, switching between them as needed, and each has a distinct ability used for combat and for crossing obstacles, such as Knuckles digging and burrowing or Tails using gadgets. Play mixes melee combat against robotic enemies, light puzzle solving, exploration of connected areas and faster on-rails running and vehicle sections. Characters use an energy tether that can pull objects and enemies or connect to anchor points. Progress unlocks upgrades that improve health and attacks. The story follows the group against Lyric, an ancient antagonist, with Dr. Eggman also involved. A second player can join in cooperative play on the same console.
