Sonic Classics is a compilation cartridge for the Sega Genesis that collects several earlier Sonic releases on a single menu. It brings together 2D Sonic platforming, in which you run, spin dash and jump through zones split into acts, gather rings for extra lives and protection, and end each zone with a fight against Dr. Robotnik’s machines, along with Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, a falling-block puzzle game where you match coloured beans in groups to clear them and send junk to your opponent. Games are selected from a front-end menu and otherwise play as they did individually, so the collection functions mainly as a convenient way to have multiple Genesis Sonic titles on one cartridge. Exact contents vary between regional versions of the compilation.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
