Sonic Gems Collection – Gamecube Game

Sonic Gems Collection gathers a set of Sonic and Sega titles that had not appeared often on later hardware. The centrepiece is Sonic CD, the Sega CD platformer with its time-travel mechanic, where signposts and enough speed let you jump between past, present and good or bad futures of each zone. Also included are Sonic R, a racing game in which characters run and glide around open circuits collecting rings and tokens, and Sonic the Fighters, an arena fighting game featuring Sonic characters in one-on-one matches with barriers and knockdowns. Several Game Gear Sonic titles round out the lineup, along with unlockable non-Sonic Sega games. A menu-driven front end lets you browse the games and view artwork and other supporting material.
