Space Chimps – PS2 Game

Space Chimps on PlayStation 2 is a game based on the animated film of the same name, in which chimpanzees are sent on a mission into space. Play is built around third-person action and platforming, guiding your character through themed environments with jumping, exploration and objective-based tasks. The presentation draws on the film’s cast and setting, with cartoon-styled characters and alien landscapes. Like most licensed titles aimed at younger players, the structure is level-based and moves through a sequence of stages tied loosely to the story of the movie. If you are looking for a family-friendly platformer on the PS2 with a recognisable film tie-in, this is a straightforward example of the type.
