Space Invaders – Game Boy

Space Invaders is an arcade shooter for Game Boy based on the original alien-invasion arcade game. This version includes portable single-player play, head-to-head linking, and Super Game Boy enhancements through the Super NES accessory.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Classic fixed-screen arcade action focuses on shooting descending alien formations while using shields for protection.
• The gameplay emphasizes quick reflexes, precise shots, and survival against increasingly pressured enemy waves.
• Game Link support enables a head-to-head challenge between two Game Boy systems with two game paks.
• Super Game Boy enhanced play adds special features when used through a Super NES with the Super Game Boy accessory.
• The original arcade version is playable through the Super Game Boy mode.

The Game Boy release preserves the simple “destroy or be destroyed” structure that made Space Invaders a recognizable early arcade shooter. Its Super Game Boy mode gives this portable version a distinct connection to the Super NES era.
