The Nintendo 64 version of the Spider-Man action game originally released on PlayStation. You control Spider-Man through a series of level-based missions built around wall-crawling, ceiling-crawling, and swinging on web lines between anchor points. Combat combines melee strikes with web moves that let you trap enemies, yank objects, or form a web shield, and your web fluid is a limited supply you replenish with pickups. Stages move between city rooftops, interiors, and sewers, with objectives such as chasing a target, disarming a threat, or surviving a boss fight. The plot draws on the Marvel comics, pitting you against a lineup of familiar Spider-Man villains, and Stan Lee narrates portions of the story. Unlockable extras include alternate comic-book costumes and gallery material.
