Splatoon – Wii U Game

A team-based shooter built around covering ground in ink. You play as an Inkling, switching between humanoid form to fire your weapon and squid form to swim through your own team’s ink, which refills your tank, hides you and lets you climb inked walls. The main online mode, Turf War, has two teams of four competing to cover more of the map in their colour before time runs out, with ranked modes adding objective-based rules. Weapons range from rapid-fire shooters to rollers, chargers and buckets, each paired with sub and special abilities. A single-player campaign has you fighting Octarians across platforming stages, and local play uses the Wii U GamePad screen for the map, letting you super jump to teammates.
