SpongeBob’s Truth or Square – PSP Game

A SpongeBob SquarePants game for PlayStation Portable tied to the Truth or Square television special. The story sends SpongeBob through the history of the Krusty Krab, using time travel as a framing device to move between different eras and settings. Play is platform-based, with jumping, simple combat against enemies and collectibles hidden across the stages, broken up by boss encounters and alternate challenge sequences. Familiar Bikini Bottom characters appear in cutscenes and set up objectives between levels. The art style follows the cartoon, and voice clips and dialogue carry the humour of the source material. Stages are compact and checkpointed, which suits the handheld format and keeps the difficulty accessible for younger players working through the adventure.
