Star Ocean First Departure – PSP Game

Star Ocean: First Departure is a handheld remake of the first Star Ocean role-playing game, rebuilt with updated visuals, voice acting and animated cutscenes. The story mixes science fiction and fantasy, following a group of characters who travel between worlds and through time in search of a cure for a spreading affliction. Battles play out in real time on a dedicated field, where you directly control one party member while the others fight under AI behaviour settings, using special attacks and spells drawn from your skill list. Outside combat, the Private Actions system lets you split off with individual companions in towns, and the conversations you have there affect relationships and which of several endings you see. Item creation skills let you craft equipment and other goods.
