Star Wars Battlefront 2 – PS2 Game

The sequel to the team-based Star Wars shooter, on PlayStation 2. The core remains large infantry battles over command posts, with selectable soldier classes, drivable vehicles and turrets, and AI troops filling out both armies across maps drawn from the films. This entry adds space battles, where you launch from a capital ship, dogfight enemy fighters, and can land inside the opposing vessel to sabotage it from within. Jedi and other named heroes are playable during battles, and a first-person view is available alongside third-person. The campaign is narrated from the perspective of a clone trooper unit and follows its service through the Clone Wars and into the Empire’s early years. Instant action, Galactic Conquest and split-screen play are also included.
