A handheld entry in the Battlefront series built for the PSP. You fight large-scale infantry battles across Star Wars locations, capturing command posts, using vehicles and turrets, and switching between blaster-armed troopers on foot and starfighters in space engagements. Instead of picking from fixed unit classes, you assemble your soldier from a pool of points, choosing weapons, equipment and appearance, and can rebuild that loadout between lives. A campaign frames the action around a covert Rebel unit carrying out missions for the Alliance, narrated between stages. Alongside the story there are instant-action skirmishes and a galactic conquest mode in which you move forces between planets and fight for control of the map. Multiplayer is supported for competitive matches with other players.
