Star Wars Starfighter – PS2 Game

Star Wars Starfighter is a space and atmospheric combat game set around the events of Episode I. You alternate between three pilots with different ships: a young Naboo pilot flying an N-1 starfighter, a mercenary in a heavily armed freighter, and a pirate captain flying his own craft. Missions send you through patrols, escort runs, bombing objectives and dogfights above and around Naboo, building toward the battle against the Trade Federation blockade. Controls are arcade-leaning rather than simulation-heavy, with primary lasers, secondary torpedoes or bombs, and shield management. Objectives often change mid-mission, adding secondary targets or new threats. Completing missions and finding hidden objectives unlocks bonus material. Cutscenes carry the story between missions, and the presentation uses Star Wars music and sound design.
