Stinger – NES

Stinger is a Konami shoot ’em up for the NES featuring jet-fighter action in the TwinBee series. The game mixes colorful sci-fi combat with a strange candy-themed alien invasion centered on Professor Einstein J. Cinnamon and the planet Attackon.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Vertical shooter gameplay sends the Stinger jet through waves of Attackon defenses using an array of offbeat weapons.
• The story centers on stopping a bio-nuclear sweetener formula from turning Earth into an inter-galactic ball of cotton candy.
• Stages move across varied locations including the South Seas, the Arctic Circle, and the Attackon Fortress near space.
• Simultaneous two-player play supports cooperative shooting action, with an option to play against the computer.

Stinger connects to Konami’s TwinBee lineage with its bright arcade-style shooting, quirky enemies, and airborne combat format. The Professor Cinnamon storyline later became a recurring piece of TwinBee series lore.
