Sunset Riders – Sega Genesis Game

Sunset Riders is a Wild West run-and-gun game, adapted from Konami’s arcade original. You play as a bounty hunter moving left to right through frontier towns, canyons and saloons, shooting outlaws while jumping between platforms and taking cover behind scenery. Each stage ends with a named boss who has his own attack pattern to learn, and power-ups upgrade your firearm and movement speed. Some sections put you on horseback, and there are bonus rounds between chapters. A single hit takes a life, so the game rewards learning enemy placements and keeping your distance. The Genesis version supports two players at once, letting a partner join in for cooperative play, and its roster and stage selection differ from other home conversions of the arcade game.
