Super Smash Bros. – Wii U Game

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is a crossover fighting game built around knocking opponents off the edges of the stage rather than depleting a health bar. Damage percentages rise as you take hits, making each character easier to launch. The roster draws from across Nintendo’s franchises alongside guest characters, and stages are based on those same series. Matches on this version support up to eight players locally, and you can adjust rules, items and stage hazards to suit the group. Alongside standard versus play there are single-player and multiplayer modes, online matches, and support for amiibo figures that train as CPU fighters. Controls stay simple, with directional inputs combined with a small number of attack buttons producing each character’s moveset, while advanced play comes from spacing, recovery and reading opponents.
