Super Sprint – NES Game

Super Sprint is an overhead racing game played on single-screen tracks viewed from above. Your car laps a compact circuit filled with tight corners, crossovers, ramps and obstacles, racing against rival cars while the whole course stays visible at once. Contact with walls and hazards can wreck your car, after which it is dropped back onto the track to continue. Wrenches appear during races and can be collected to upgrade your car’s speed, acceleration and handling between events. Placing well allows you to continue to the next track, while poor finishes end the run. The NES version supports play with a second driver, and races are short, so a session moves through many circuits quickly. Control is simple, with steering and acceleration only, and the challenge comes from cornering lines.
