Syndicate Wars – PS1 Game

Syndicate Wars is a cyberpunk real-time tactics game in which you direct a squad of four cybernetically augmented agents through missions in a dark, dystopian city. You issue movement and attack orders from an overhead view of fully three-dimensional environments that can be rotated and zoomed, with buildings and scenery that can be destroyed by heavy weaponry. Missions involve assassinations, escorts, sabotage and the persuasion of civilians and enemies into joining your group. Between operations you spend funds on research, weapons and cybernetic upgrades for your agents, and choose your next target on a world map. Agents can be drugged with stimulants to affect their perception, speed and aggression during combat. Two campaigns are offered, each following a different faction’s side of the conflict.
